Welcome to the cause!
XDM is more than just a better way to play … it's a revolution in role playing games … and YOU are an important part of this challenge for change!
The Grand Masters will permit you to create your own XDM GAG website or general fansite … indeed, we will do what we can to promote your excellent internet presence in support of the XDM movement! All you have to do is follow our fansite guidelines…
XDM Fansite guidelines
In our overly-litigious society (Tort Reform Now!) it is important that we establish guidelines for permitting fansites. You may hvae our permission to establish a fansite online associated with the XDM: Xtreme Dungeon Mastery cause if you adhere to the following guidelines:
- Several Responsibility: You are responsible for the content on your site. We are not responsible if you put something boneheaded on your site.
- Keep it Safe: You may not post material that is harmful, hateful or potentially dangerous. If it could land you in jail; don't post it. If it could result in a lawsuit; don't post it. If it could land someone in the hospital; don't post it.
- Keep it Positive: The XDM movement is a positive one — to promote better gaming and comradeship among both game players and referees. You need to provide a positive environment both in the text and the tone of your site.
- Keep it Not for Profit: You may offer original content, uploads, downloads, sideloads or whatever materials in support of XDM's ideals and objectives so long as you do so without charging for your services or making a profit from XDM materials. (We're not against you making XDM products per se and if you have one you really want to do let us know. We can then discuss an actual license with you … but until there's an actual real-world contract between us, let's keep everything clearly in the non-profit bin.)
- You Link me … you really link me: Your site should link back to the main XDM website. Hey, fair is fair! We'll also in return link back to your site as well, especially if you are a GAG website.
If you cannot follow these guidelines then there's gonna be trouble between us … and you don't want angry XDMs at your door!
If you want to have your website recognized and linked from our main site, just let us know by posting to our forums under the 'Local Guilds / Fansites Arise' topic and we'll help get you set up.
XDM Fan Support Graphics
Our XDM Researchers have produced a number of graphics which you can use in your website! Those will be posted here shortly for you to download and enjoy!

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good, free, host server with minimal ads? And while I'm at it, does anyone have a million bucks I could have?

I'm considering if the CDAG counts as 'negligently dangerous' by existing.

What happens when a XDM gets hold of a tired old trope? Awesome things.

Depending on what you're looking to post, you could go use Google Sites. Otherwise I can probably get something up and running if a couple people want to pool onto the same server.

If people want free hosting I can provide it.
I own a couple of domains where I can make unlimited side domains with unique ftp access.
As long as you are not putting hundreds of MB I will be able to host you for free :-)
So if you want xdm.banapsis.eu or such let me know and I'll "Make it so".
A free MYSQL DB will be in the deal (if you want it).
PS
At this moment I'll not allow a forum on those free sites untill I find a way to share the forum engine.
No naughty content allowed (you know what I mean )

The first X-CDAG component for XDM/XD20 is in the process of being put together. Stay tuned for 5RD #1: CDAG Outpost!
